Fractional CMO
Senior marketing leadership without the full-time hire. Spots are limited, so it starts with a short application. 3-month minimum, then month to month. Bought the annual plan? It comes off your first three months.
Your marketing needs someone in charge. A senior marketing lead who knows your numbers, sets the plan and keeps everyone on it — a few hours a month, for a fraction of a full-time hire.
Sound familiar?
What a fractional CMO is
A CMO — chief marketing officer — owns a business’s marketing: where the money goes, what gets said, and whether any of it is working. Fractional means you get that person for a few hours a month instead of a full-time salary.
What changes
One plan
One calendar, one budget, and everyone works from it.
Decisions from your numbers
Not from what’s trending this week.
A team that knows what to do
Clear direction, and someone checks the work.
Seasons planned ahead
Launches and busy periods mapped out months early.
A monthly review
What’s working, what we’re cutting, what’s next.
Your time back
You stop being the marketing department.
What I do as your CMO
Your marketing plan
Goals, channels, a calendar and a budget — kept current.
Positioning and offers
Who you’re for, what you say, how you price.
Budget
Where the money goes, and what gets cut when it isn’t earning.
Channels
Social, email, website, ads, partnerships, events and press.
Campaigns and launches
Planned start to finish.
Your team and vendors
Briefed, reviewed — and hired or replaced if needed.
Content direction
The themes, messages and standards your content follows.
Your numbers
What to track, and what it’s telling you.
Not included: day-to-day social media (that’s Social media management), website work, and ad spend or software fees — you pay those directly.
Who it’s for
Not quite there? Try the Annual marketing plan, or start with Hourly consulting.
Why me
I grew my own retail business, The Local Space, to over $11 million in sales, and built my own software platform from scratch — so I’ve made these calls with real money on the line.
I only work with a few businesses at a time, so each one gets real attention. That’s why spots are limited.

Pricing
Same role at every level — what changes is how much time I spend on your business.
Strategy and decisions: your plan, the monthly review, and direction for your team to carry out.

How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency does the work. I decide which work is worth doing, then direct whoever does it — your team, freelancers or an agency.
Do I need a team already?
No. If it’s just you, I’ll plan around the time you actually have and tell you what’s worth handing off.
Which level do I need?
“Not sure yet” is a fine answer on the application. I’ll recommend one after I read it.
What if it isn’t working?
After the first three months it’s month to month. You’re never locked in beyond that.
How it starts
Apply
About five minutes.
I read it
Every application, myself.
Your proposal
A proposal and agreement, here in the portal.
We start
Your plan first, then your first monthly review at the end of month one.
