Custom workshop
A practical, hands-on, in-person workshop for your members or team — social media, websites, email, SEO, shopping local and more — with a workbook for everyone to keep. For BIAs, chambers of commerce and business teams.
Practical marketing your members can use the next morning. Hands-on, in-person workshops for business improvement associations, chambers of commerce and business teams — built around your group, not pulled off a shelf.
Who it's for
Business improvement associations
— give your members skills that bring more people through their doors.
Chambers of commerce
— a member event people actually want to come to.
In-house business teams
— get your staff confident running your marketing and website.
Industry groups, networking groups and non-profits
— anyone bringing small business owners together.
Topics
Every workshop is shaped around your group. Popular topics:
Social media
— what to post, how often, and what actually works for local businesses.
Content and Reels
— filming, editing and posting without a production team.
Website management
— keeping your site up to date, and what to fix first.
SEO and getting found on Google
— including your Google Business Profile.
Email marketing
— building a list and sending emails people open.
Why supporting local matters
— shop-local campaigns that work for the whole street.
Planning a year of marketing
, using AI in a small business, and operations and systems.
Something else in mind? Ask — if it helps small businesses grow, I can probably teach it.
What's included
A workshop built for your group
— their businesses, their level, their questions.
In person and hands-on, not a lecture
— people leave having done something, not just heard about it.
A workbook for every attendee
— a printed copy to work through on the day, and the PDF to keep, so it doesn't end when the workshop does.
Time for questions
, so people get answers about their own business.
Why me
I grew my own retail business, The Local Space, to over $11 million in retail sales — so I teach what's worked with real money on the line, not theory. Today I run The Local Biz Club, a membership for small business owners, and work with local businesses on their marketing, websites and operations every day. Everything I teach is what's working right now for businesses like the ones in your room.
